Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. She is best known for her performance as Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward and Jean Ward, she also appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during the Preparatory stage before relocating her family in Ohio. She took classes at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for many years prior to making a move to film and television. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she was cast as Arden for 29 seasons of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be the guest on a few TV shows and films including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 90's. She was then cast on a regular basis in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. At the beginning of 2000 she was assigned to Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Also, she starred in the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn took the stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the podcast Numbered Day made up of four plays. The relationship between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the story that is told in Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and eventually its demise echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final days of life.
